FXEC named most innovative private institution in southern region of Tamil Nadu by ARIIA-2021

Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli has been ranked in the “Band - Excellent'' Category by ARIIA 2021 - Atal Ranking of Institution on Innovation Achievements. ARIIA is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India implemented through AICTE and MoE’s Innovation Cell to systematically rank higher educational Institutions in India on indicators related to promotion and support of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties. The major parameters considered for the ranking includes: Institutions excellent contribution towards organizing various activities to promote and support innovation & start-up in the campus, Pre-incubation and incubation infrastructures & facilities available in campus, Academic courses offered by the institute on innovation, IPR and start-up, Successful innovation and start-ups emerged from campus, Investment, collaboration and partnerships with ecosystem enablers, Research outputs; publications and intellectual properties generated, Technology transfer and commercialization efforts.

This ranking has placed the institution on par with the top 96 colleges among 14,505 Technical Institutions in India, making it one of the best Institutions in the southern region.
