The 18th District Junior Athletic Meet was conducted by Tuticorin Athletic Association on 10.09.2022 at SDAT Ground, Tuticorin. Ms.S.Jeni Marks of II CSE participated in 100M hurdles and got the first place.

The 18th District Junior Athletic Meet was conducted by Thoothukudi Athletic Association on 10/09/2022 at SDAT Ground Thoothukudi. Ms .S. Jenny Marks of II CSE, Francis Xavier Engineering college Participated in 100m Hurdles and got the first place.
Badminton Match for men category was conducted on 30.08.2022. The match was initiated by Dr. L. R. Priya,Professor (academic) & Mrs. Shala F John, Assistant Professor (English). Eight students participated in this event. Esakki Muthu II EEE and Sanjay II B.Tech CS&BS won the first and second places respectively.
The Badminton match for Male faculty was conducted on 28.09.2022 in the indoor stadium at 4.00pm. Dr.Suman Prof/CSE, Dr.Suresh Chinnathambi got 1st place, Mrs.Robinson,AP/ECE, Mrs.Seetharaman, Lab Assistant/Phy won 2nd place.
Badminton Match for girls students conducted on 01/09/2022 in the indoor auditorium at 4.pm. 7 students participated in this event.T.M.Janu Anbu Mani 3rd year ECE , and A.Jeyanth Ranna 2nd year EEE won the first and second places respectively.
Badminton friendly match (FXEC vs SCAD Engineering) was conducted on 06.09.2022 at 3:30 pm in the indoor auditorium. The match was inaugurated by Dr.Velmurugan, Principal,FXEC and Dr.Jasper Gnana Chandran,EEE HOD.3 Badminton Singles were conducted.FXEC won 2 matches and SCAD won one match.Badminton Doubles - 2 matches won by FXEC.
On 18.10.2022 women's Badminton practice game was held in which volleyball club team.In women's badminton practice competition, in doubles category, the students were divided into two teams, A and B, team B won one match and team A won two matches.
Basketball match was conducted between the students of FXEC and MDT Hr. Sec.School, Tirunelveli junction at FXEC Campus on 20th October 2022. FXEC won the match.
Mr.Prakash Raj, III B.E. EEE participated in tirunelveli district chess development association, in U-19 Chess championship tournament and won 5th place held Ayya thaiyal Nagi Nilayam, Palayamkottai Tirunelveli on18.12.2021.
Ms.Dhanish Ram Jothi, II BE EEE participated in Tirunelveli district chess development association, in chess championship and won runner up held at Annammal College of Education for women on 8.3.2022.

Football friendly match (FXEC vs SCAD Engineering) was conducted on 07.09.2022 at 3:30p.m in the football field . The match was inaugurated by Dr.Samuvel Hanshen ,Mechanical HOD and Dr.Jasper Gnana Chandran,EEE HOD.FXEC won the match.
In the recently conducted Anna University; Zone 18 Tournament 2022 - 2023, the FXEC Football men team won the first place.
Mr.R.Winson III B.E CSE participated in the Body Building & Men Physique Championship conducted by Indian Fitness Federation on 18th Sep 2022 and won 5th Place.
Mr.Vignesh II BE ECE participated in Tirunelveli District Men Physique Association in men physique championship and won runner up held at VOC indoor stadium , Palayamkottai on 19.12.2021
Mr.Alan Raj, AI&DS I year participated Tamil Nadu State Aquatic association tournament in 4x100 M free style, 4x100 Medley relay, 200 M back stroke won the gold medal and bronze medal held at Anna Stadium, Tirunelvel during the academic year 2021-22
Throw ball match was conducted on 13.9.2022 between two teams of female faculty and students to encourage the spirit of sportsmanship. The team A was headed by Mrs. Priskilla Angel Rani, (Assistant Professor CSE department) and team B was headed by Dr. Shajilin Laurent (IT HOD). Team A won the first place and team B became runner-up.
Throwball practice match for female faculty was conducted on 20.10.2022 to encourage the spirit of sportsmanship.
Volley ball match for Staff and Students was conducted on 02.09.2022 in the Volley ball Court at 4p.m. 10 Students and 10 staffs were participated in the event. Student’s team won the match.
On 18.10.2022 men's volleyball Practice game was held in which volleyball club team and our college volleyball team participated in the practice game. Club team won three matches and our college team won 2 matches.
Volleyball friendly match (FXEC vs SCAD Engineering) was conducted on 08.09.2022 at 4:00 pm in the eVolleyball court . The match was inaugurated by Dr.Rajakumar/ COE /FXEC , Dr.Jasper Gnana Chandran/EEE HOD, Dr.Justin Diraviam/professor EEE, and Dr. Annapandian/ Professor EEE. The match was won by FXEC.
On account of Teacher's day, games were conducted for the staff on 05.09.2022 at 4:30 pm. Zigzag hopping was conducted for the female staff. 4 staff were participated in the game. Dr.Sajilin Lauret (IT HOD)got 1st prize ,Mrs.Aruna Devi M(Asst professor (AI & DS)got 2nd prize and Mrs.Esther(Lib Asst)got 3rd prize.
