Journey towards Startup: Discussion with a Student Startup Founder

On 20.01.2023 an expert talk on “Journey towards Startup: Discussion with a Student Startup Founder” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Management Studies. The session was handled by Mr.A.Muthu Raman, General Manager - Colakin, Founder and CEO - Kasadara Tech & Reality Studio ( Startup Companies). 41 students from first year MBA and 1 faculty of MBA department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mr. P. Selvakumar, EDC Coordinator, Assistant professor - MBA, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 10.00AM - 12.30 PM.

The program started with the introduction of Guest Speaker Mr.A.Muthu Raman. by Mr.P.Selvakumar. The resource person explained the various opportunities for starting the business establishment. It’s about trying to get as many small wins as you can, every single day. He often mentioned his trial and how he focused the work even during festivals. He remarked that students have to focus on work no matter what the day is if the ambition has to be met. He cited all about his struggles and how he focused to overcome those in a positive way. He insisted that students should be independent during their young age and how smart investments help them to secure their future. The speaker said that if anyone wants to stand out, he need to do something different. He also highlighted his start up journey and the success he achieved in his journey. Throughout the session he inspired the students and interacted very freely. It made the session unique and different. His session was an eye opener to most of the students and the participants felt happy.
