From 27.11.2024 to 29.11.2024 sessions on " Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme for Community Resource Ppersons-EPs of Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Chennai in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Management Studies department and IIC, Francis Xavier Engineering College, through offline mode from 10.00 AM- 05.30 PM with 50 participants.

The Entrepreneurship Development Programme for CRP-EPs (Community Resource Persons - Enterprise Promotion) of TNSRLM (Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission) commenced on 27th November 2024. The event began with a Welcome Address by Mr. M. Siva Baarathi, District Coordinator, EDII- TN, Tirunelveli, who highlighted the importance of fostering entrepreneurial growth in rural areas and introduced the objectives of the programme. Mr. A. Victor Fernandes, Assistant Project Officer, TNSRLM, Tirunelveli, addressed the gathering, explaining TNSRLM Schemes and Activities aimed at empowering rural entrepreneurs and improving livelihood opportunities. A Special Address was delivered by Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, Director of Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli, on Entrepreneurial Activities in the Tirunelveli Region. He emphasized the region's potential for entrepreneurial growth and encouraged participants to utilize the resources available.

Another Special Address by Mr. S. Elakkuvan, Project Director, TNSRLM/TNULM, Tirunelveli, focused on Women Development and its critical role in societal progress. He also distributed EDII-TN Book Materials to the participants, equipping them with valuable learning resources. The technical session was facilitated by Mrs. S. Thanga Eswari, EDP Trainer, EDII-TN. She conducted an Ice-Breaking Session, fostering engagement and interaction among the participants, Concepts of Entrepreneurship, Competencies of an Entrepreneur, and the Stages of Entrepreneurship, SWOT Analysis, Business Model Canvas (BMC) were covered during her session with various activities. The second day was led by Dr. A. Justin Thiraviam, EDP Trainer, EDII-TN, focusing on critical aspects of business development and marketing. Business Plan and Project Report Preparation, Marketing Management,, Digital Marketing Opportunities were explained through Role-Playing Activities and Games to provide experiential learning.

The final day featured sessions by Mr. J. Mohammed Nowsath Sherif, EDP Trainer, EDII-TN, on financial management and legal aspects of entrepreneurship such as Simple Accounting and Bookkeeping practices, Banking Services, Procedures, and Digital Payment Methods, Government Subsidy Schemes and Benefits ,Government Subsidy Schemes and Benefits and The application of Generative AI Tools for Business Development
